Do you want to be included in the list?

You and other families you know are invited to be part of PJ Library to receive free bedtime stories and songs for children. (http://www.pjlibrary.org/)

You, or any family in Edmonton with a Jewish parent who is raising a child from six months to eight years of age, can receive a free quality children’s book with a Jewish theme, sent to you by mail, once a month. They send one introductory book with information and you decide if you wish to continue.

Please let me know with a return email by the end of Friday, July 26 if we should include your contact information in response to this invitation. You can add contact information for other families, outside Temple Beth Ora, who are interested.

Who is behind this invitation?

We are partnering with the Jewish Federation of Edmonton, along with Beth Shalom, Beth Israel, and Talmud Torah.  The initiative is sponsored by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and our Jewish Federation of Edmonton. The purpose is to help families connect with their Jewish heritage. More than 70 cities throughout North America are participating, sending over 116,000 books each month. As a PJ Partner, Temple Beth Ora will participate in and sponsor programs for interested PJ families — anything from a Tot Shabbat to a picnic in the park to some kind of Mitzvah project for families with young children.

By email, please advise me by the end of Friday, July 26 if TBO can submit your name and contact information to the Jewish Federation of Edmonton for participation in the PJ Library. ajg@interbaun.comor the TBO office at tboffice@shaw.ca

Thank you!
