Rabbi Goldie Milgram is an internationally acclaimed teacher of Torah and Jewish spiritual practices. Also ordained a mashpi’ah and maggidah by Reb Zalman, she has served as his assistant and among his shlichim, and an ALEPH co-director, and as a founding faculty member of the Aleph Ordination programs and a Dean at The Academy for Jewish Religion. Her style is to combine scholarship with humor and the methods of Jewish spiritual and experiential education.
Reb Goldie has been honored by the Covenant Foundation for excellence as a Jewish educator and innovator in settings throughout the full spectrum of Jewish life, by the Council of Jewish Federations for her pioneering work in Jewish journalism and named Citizen of the Year by the American Cancer
Society for her public and professional educational innovations while serving as an NBC TV40 anchor and producer.
Founder and director of Reclaiming Judaism, a non-profit dedicated to the innovation of programs, resources and books for meaningful Jewish living, in 2009 Rabbi Milgram founded Reclaiming Judaism Press, and her newest of six published books, Mitzvah Stories: Seeds for Inspiration and Learning and her decks of Mitzvah Cards have just been honored at the National Jewish Book
Awards. The Archives of American Jewish History maintain originals of all of Reb Goldie’s work product and ritual garb.
