About the event
Gathered in a tipi, Or Shalom students and other participants will learn about the ceremonial significance of the tipi for Indigenous nations of this area, where each element of the structure carries a sacred teaching. The presentation will lead into a talking circle. Lewis Cardinal, Project Manager for kihcihkaw-askȋ, will be our teacher and facilitator. Session followed by a brief Kabbalat Shabbat service. Please bring food to share for a picnic-style potluck. This program made possible by a grant  from the Reform Jewish Community Canada and Women of Reform Judaism
